Welding – MIG
This course is designed to teach the most common GMAW welding processes. Students will be introduced to safety, measurement, MIG machine operation and maintenance, metal properties and MIG welding techniques. The course will utilize MIG welding machines and American Welding Society (AWS) books and materials. Students will gain basic knowledge and skill needed to earn the AWS 1G flat position certification.

CDL – B Bus Driver
This course prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive passenger vehicles with air brakes. Students will prepare to pass the Indiana control-skills driving test to obtain their commercial driver’s license class B with bus driver endorsement.
To get a CDL you must be a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident, and be at least 21 years old if you will be transporting people. You must have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
To enroll in the course individuals need a valid drivers license and social security card. To achieve certification the individual will also need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and pass a NIDA, 5-panel drug screen.
